Marketing Communications
First and foremost, I treat the person reading the post, listening to the radio, or watching the video, as a real person. We, the advertiser, talk to someone, not at them. We don't brag about our business acumen, we paint what our business can do for the person.
Think about it- what's most important to the audience: that you've been in business twenty years? Or that they can depend on you to be there for them, backing up warranties, keeping their purchase- and their money- safe.
Media provides us with the how- audio, video, print. It's the words that make the why.
That's what I do with my scripts- take the client's objective, and then find the "why" for the audience to pay attention, and to act.
If you need writing that talks to someone, not at them, email me call me. Let's see if I'm the right fit for your project.
Voice Acting / Audio Editing
The voice of your business- mid range, approachable, tasty to the ears but with an every-man appeal.
Or squirrely, entertaining, funny.
It's acting, and I've loved it from childhood. When I didn't pursue it on the theater stage, I performed on my own stage- a microphone. Doing voiceover allows me to be any age, any place, any time. From radio commercials to radio theater to industrial narration, I'll paint your picture with the colors of my voice.
With the right sound effects, the right scoring, and some fun with a mic, there's nothing we can't do, and nowhere we can't be.
Where does your imagination take you for the sound/feel of your advertising? I can help you get there.
Fiction, Plays, Poetry
"We write to taste life twice, in the moment and in retrospect."
--Anaïs Nin
From poems to short stories to plays, that's how I roll.
Have you thought about surprising your workplace event with a small play? Or spicing up your party with a hand-crafted murder mystery? Need ghostwriting to help along your own creative writing?
I've published 5 anthologies, four of which involve multiple authors, working as editor, publisher, creative guide, and head lunatic. I've also had short stories, poetry, and photography published in annual collections, online magazines, art 'zines, and books.
When it comes to wordsmithing, wherever I am, I try to keep a notepad and a pen handy. The world touches me and words spring up. I snag them in my notepad, or if unprepared, on whatever is handy- restaurant placemat, bar napkin, leftover receipt in my vehicle armrest, anything so I can take it home give it the attention it deserves.
Have a crazy idea? I'm a crazy guy. Let's see if we can make your idea into words, and from there- anything is possible.

Let's talk. If I'm not the right fit, I might know someone who is.
